Paul Dickov is set to be without Paul Black and Filipe Morais.

Left-back Black is definitely out and could miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on an abdominal problem which had troubled him for several weeks.

His complaint centred on the release of an abductor muscle and, as the surgery was more extensive than expected, he may not play again this term.

Dickov said: "There is a chance Paul will be back before the end of the season, though it looks to be a slim one."

Midfielder Morais received a painful blow to his hip in last weekend's 2-0 win at Notts County and is rated doubtful.

Dean Perrett looks set to miss out.

The on-loan Tottenham midfielder is struggling with a tight hamstring and is unlikely to be risked.

Former Manchester United youngster Michael Stewart could be handed a full debut in place of Perrett or Therry Racon could move inside paving the way for Kyel Reid to start on the wing.

Veteran defender Gary Doherty may return to the starting line-up after recovering from illness and striker Joe Anyinsah (ankle) will be checked over, but winger Johnnie Jackson (Achilles) is unlikely to play again this season.

Young left-back Carl Jenkinson is still being overlooked having turned down a new contract and been linked with a summer move to Arsenal.
