Celtic winger Shaun Maloney could make his first-team comeback following more than four months out with an ankle injury.

Glenn Loovens is fit for the Scottish Premier League game despite coming off against Hibernian in midweek with a tight hamstring.

Celtic will still be without Daniel Majstorovic (toe) while Daryl Murphy (groin) is a doubt and Andreas Hinkel is not ready to return following a knee injury.

St Mirren defender Lee Mair is in contention for the game after recovering from a minor strain that forced him out of the midweek win over Aberdeen moments before kick-off.

Paul McGowan will miss the game under the terms of his loan agreement.
