Hearts captain Marius Zaliukas was sent off in last Sunday's Edinburgh derby with Hibernian and will serve the first of a two-match ban, while Rudi Skacel (Achilles), Suso Santana (knee) and Eggert Jonsson (facial injury) are doubtful.

Lee Wallace (ankle), Kevin Kyle (groin/stomach) and Calum Elliot (knee) remain out.

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall is awaiting news on a number of players with knocks ahead of the game.

Stevie Hammell has an outside chance of making the bench for Well's fourth game in 11 days, while McCall will make late decisions on a number of unnamed players following the midweek win over Dundee United.

Keith Lasley is set to continue despite a rib problem, but Francis Jeffers (hamstring), Gavin Gunning (shoulder) and Steve Jennings (suspended) are out.

Hearts (from): Kello, Bouzid, Stevenson, Driver, Elliott, Skacel, Glen, C Thomson, J Thomson, Santana, Balogh, Webster, Templeton, Black, Palazuelos, Robinson, Mrowiec, Jonsson.
