Zaha: Available for Palace

Wilfried Zaha will be available for Crystal Palace.

The young winger was shown his second red card of the season at the end of the 1-1 draw at Leicester on Tuesday night and was due to start a four-match ban.

But the Eagles appealed against the decision and it was overturned by the FA on Thursday afternoon.

Boss Dougie Freedman sprang a surprise at the Walkers Stadium by resting midfielder Darren Ambrose and striker James Vaughan from his starting line-up and they could return.

David Wright is on the mend after a calf injury and will be checked over but fellow midfielder Alex Marrow is expected to miss out again with an ankle problem.

Forward Jermaine Easter will be added to the bench if he can shake off a thigh knock.

Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill could be without midfielder Michael O'Connor.

The Northern Ireland international was substituted at half-time during Tuesday's 2-0 home defeat to Reading after feeling his thigh tighten up.

He did not train on Thursday and will be assessed closer to kick-off as the Iron bid to bounce back from the setback against the Royals.

Striker Joe Garner suffered a blow to the head against Brian McDermott's side but Knill expects him to be available to face Palace, who lie six points and one place above Scunthorpe.

Winger Garry Thompson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing groin surgery and defender Cliff Byrne remains sidelined with a calf injury.
