With relegation seemingly imminent, Sheffield United manager Micky Adams is expected to keep faith with youngsters Harry Maguire, Jonathan Slew and Danny Philiskirk.

Defender Joe Mattock, on loan from West Brom, is available after groin trouble but strikers Richard Cresswell (groin/Achilles) and Ched Evans (knee) remain sidelined.

Louis Carey could be included in the Bristol City squad. The Robins captain has been sidelined since suffering a fractured skull against Scunthorpe at the end of February. The 34-year-old defender came through unscathed in a friendly against Yeovil this week.

Fit-again striker Jon Stead and midfielder Cole Skuse both had much-needed run-outs in the same match and will be in contention to start at Bramall Lane.
