Watford midfielder Ross Jenkins is a doubt due to a turned ankle, meaning Danny Drinkwater could be handed a rare start.

Winger Michael Bryan is back from his ankle injury but Stephen McGinn (knee) is a long-term absentee.

Barnsley boss Mark Robins will recall Stephen Foster to the starting line-up to cover the absence of Paul McShane, who has returned to parent club Hull after his loan spell at Oakwell expired.

Robins has no new injury or suspension problems, with versatile defender Bobby Hassell in contention after missing the last three games with calf and ankle ligament trouble.
