Greer: Still suspended for Seagulls

Seagulls skipper Gordon Greer is still suspended.

The centre-half serves the third game of the four-match ban he received for his second red card of the season against Sheffield Wednesday a fortnight ago.

Full-back Jim McNulty remains a long-term absentee after ankle surgery but boss Gus Poyet has no new injury worries.

Poyet is considering making changes after Brighton clinched the title last week, although he insists there is still plenty to play for with an unbeaten home record to protect and seven points required to reach the 100-point mark.

Lewis Dunk, Jamie Smith, Alan Navarro, Gary Hart and Fran Sandaza are among the players hoping for a rare start for the champions.

Southampton will be without Lee Barnard.

The 16-goal striker was taken to hospital with an ankle injury during Saturday's 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers and could struggle to play again this season.

Winger Alex Chamberlain is set to miss out again with an ankle problem while left-back Dan Harding is a doubt with a groin injury.

Adam Lallana has been struggling with a groin tear lately but could come back into the starting line-up after he was rested last week.

Richard Chaplow may also be recalled after sitting on the bench against Rovers but fellow midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin (knee) and winger Lee Holmes (ankle) are still missing.
