Roberts: May be able to return

Derby will be without in-form striker Jamie Ward.

Ward has proved a big hit at Pride Park since joining in February - scoring four goals - but will miss the next two games through suspension after being shown a straight red card against Burnley on Saturday.

That blow could be tempered by the news that Gareth Roberts may return to the fold after missing out against the Clarets through illness.

Should he be passed fit, Roberts looks certain to be recalled to manager Nigel Clough's starting XI, meaning Russell Anderson will make way.

This game will prove Shaun Barker's final act of the campaign, with the midfielder set to undergo knee surgery later this week.

Dean Leacock is struggling through illness and will be assessed, but Paul Green (knee), Chris Porter (hamstring), Jake Buxton (groin), Tomasz Cywka (thigh) and Saul Deeney (shoulder) remain sidelined.

Norwich manager Paul Lambert is unlikely to make any changes to his line-up.

The Canaries romped to a 5-1 victory over Ipswich in the East Anglia derby at Portman Road on Thursday night and Lambert is expected to keep faith with the same XI.

Canada striker Simeon Jackson, with five goals in as many games, should again partner captain Grant Holt in attack.

Forward Dani Pacheco, on loan from Liverpool, put the icing on the cake with the fifth against Town but is expected to be on the bench.

Striker Chris Martin, back after a hamstring injury, could replace Sam Vokes - recalled by Wolves - on the bench while Oli Johnson has returned from his loan spell at Yeovil and is another possible option.
