Peltier: Major doubt against Dagenham

Huddersfield defender Lee Peltier is a major doubt.

Peltier netted his first league goal for the club in the impressive 3-1 win at MK Dons, in his 79th league outing for Town, but was forced off at half-time with a knee problem and it remains to be seen if he recovers in time.

Otherwise Terriers boss Lee Clark has no other new injury or suspension problems.

First-choice goalkeeper Alex Smithies is again expected to miss out with the knee problem that has kept him out since mid-March.

Winger Anthony Pilkington and defender Liam Ridehalgh remain absent. Pilkington's season was brought to a premature end when he suffered a horrific leg and ankle break last month against Rochdale while Ridehalgh, who has recently signed a new contract extension at the club, is recovering from a broken bone in his foot.

On-loan Plymouth midfielder Damien Johnson remains a long-term absentee with a knee ligament injury while winger Aidan Chippendale, recently recalled from his loan spell at York, is still ineligible.

Dagenham manager John Still could make a couple of changes to his starting line-up.

The Daggers suffered a damaging defeat on Good Friday, losing 1-0 at home to fellow strugglers Plymouth Argyle.

That plunged the London club deeper into trouble and Still has options at his disposal to freshen-up his squad.

Solomon Taiwo is available after shaking off an ankle injury, although he is lacking match fitness.

Striker John Akinde has been struggling with a combination of illness and injury in the last couple of matches and was withdrawn late in the Plymouth defeat.

Still could hand an opening to Bas Savage, who is back and contention, meanwhile Spurs loanee Cameron Lancaster could also get a recall in attack.

Daggers' only injury concern is Scott Doe after he picked up a knock, meaning Will Antwi is on stand-by.
