Koren: Hopes to return for Tigers

Koren: Hopes to return for Tigers

Hull midfielder Robert Koren is hoping to return to full fitness in time for his side's final home game of the season.

The Slovenia international sustained a hamstring injury in last Saturday's defeat to Middlesbrough and missed Monday's draw at QPR.

Providing Koren does not suffer any reaction he will return to the Tigers' midfield, but on-loan defender Corry Evans is definitely out.

The Manchester United centre-half sustained a hamstring injury at QPR and will miss out, as will Liam Rosenior, who will play no part in the final two games due to medial knee ligament damage.

Midfielder Nick Barmby (calf) remains sidelined and goalkeeper Vito Mannone is ruled out with a damaged shoulder, so Matt Duke will continue in goal.

David Amoo could make his full debut after scoring the equaliser at QPR as the Tigers who can still mathematically finish in the top six.

Crystal Palace will be without Neil Danns.

The midfielder scored the only goal in Monday's 1-0 win over Leeds but was sent off in injury time and serves a one-match ban.

Darren Ambrose missed out against Leeds with a knee injury but he is expected to be fit and can step in for Danns in the centre.

Winger Sean Scannell serves the final game of his three-match ban for his red card against Scunthorpe a fortnight ago.

Midfielder Alex Marrow, who was close to a comeback after being sidelined since February with an ankle injury, has now been ruled out of the final two games in order to get fit for next season.
