Weimann: Misses out

Watford will be without striker Andreas Weimann for the visit of the champions-elect.

The on-loan Aston Villa man lasted just 16 minutes of the 4-2 defeat at Leicester on Monday before coming off with a foot injury.

The Austrian has not broken any bones but has severe bruising and will not be available at the weekend.

Fortunately for manager Malky Mackay, replacement Marvin Sordell came off the bench at the Walkers Stadium to score a brace before half-time and, therefore, will start alongside top-scorer Danny Graham.

Midfielder Ross Jenkins will miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury but young winger Matt Whichelow could return from his ankle injury.

Midfielder Stephen McGinn (knee) remains a long-term absentee.

Fitz Hall is an injury doubt for QPR as they try again to secure promotion and the Championship title at Watford.

The big defender was recalled to the side which drew 1-1 against Hull on Easter Monday but was feeling his hamstring towards the end of the match.

Matt Connolly or Dan Shittu will step in if Hall fails a late fitness check.

Rangers are otherwise likely to be unchanged despite the stuttering recent form which has seen them draw their last three matches and means they still need a point to seal their return to the top flight after a 15-year absence.

Defender Peter Ramage, winger Lee Cook (both knee) and striker Jamie Mackie (broken leg) remain sidelined.
