Sills: Eager to end goal drought

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth may introduce some fringe players.

A run of just one win in six has put an end to the Shots' play-off dream and following a 2-1 defeat to Bradford, Holdsworth could choose to freshen things up.

Youngsters Douglas Bergqvist, Henrik Breimyr and Adam Mekki have all signed two-year professional contracts with the club and will be keen to make an impression in the first-team if given the chance.

Midfielder Mekki played most of the second half at Valley Parade and he is in line to replace Alex Rodman, but forward Jack Randall will definitely miss out as he continues his recovery from a broken leg.

Striker Tim Sills has been restricted to substitute appearances in recent weeks and will be eager to end his run of 14 games without a goal.

The Shots lost 1-0 when they faced the Millers back in December.

Rotherham have several injury concerns as they head south.

Striker Ryan Taylor is struggling with a back injury picked up in Good Friday's draw with Northampton and although he will travel with the squad, he remains a doubt.

Midfielder Nicky Law is carrying an ankle injury, also sustained against the Cobblers, and he is also a worry.

Striker Ian Thomas-Moore suffered a recurrence of his thigh injury in Easter Monday's 1-0 defeat to Gillingham and he will play no further part this season.

Andy Warrington has recovered from a foot problem and he will hope to replace Jamie Annerson in goal while Johnny Mullins is a long-term absentee as he recovers from a dislocated knee-cap.

The Millers' promotion hopes are all-but over as they sit six points adrift of the play-offs with two games to play after a horror show in 2011, when they have won just seven of their 25 league games.
