Hamshaw: Passed fit for Macc

Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson has been boosted after midfielder Matt Hamshaw was passed fit.

Hamshaw has been nursing a badly swollen ankle and was an unused substitute during last weekend's 4-2 win at Gillingham.

He is now fully fit again but Simpson remains without a trio of other players.

Striker Vinny Mukendi succumbed to an ankle injury while playing for Congo Under-19s in the Reze International Football Tournament over the Easter Weekend and will not play again this season.

Midfielder Paul Bolland also remains sidelined after undergoing surgery on his shoulder, which will rule him out of action for between six to eight weeks.

Silkmen skipper Paul Morgan is still out of action with a broken arm.

Ryan Valentine could return for Hereford.

The defender has not played since sustaining a hip injury in November but is now fit and available with just one match of the campaign remaining.

With Hereford having sealed their League Two survival with last weekend's 1-1 draw against Bradford, manager Jamie Pitman may be tempted to include him at Moss Rose.

Valentine's comeback just leaves Dan Connor on the sidelines, with the goalkeeper having failed to make one appearance all season due to his hip injury.

Striker Sean Canham was an unused substitute last weekend having been recalled from his loan spell at Kidderminster and could also be involved in some capacity against the Silkmen.
