Palace trio back for Oakwell clash

Neil Danns, Owen Garvan and David Wright will return to the Crystal Palace squad for the trip to Barnsley in the Championship on Saturday.

Danns missed Palace's first two games this term as he served a suspension held over from last season and fellow midfielder Garvan was on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad in midweek.

Full-back Wright also sat out the opening-day win over Leicester and Tuesday's Carling Cup victory at Yeovil due to a hamstring injury sustained in pre-season but he is now fit and in line for his debut.

Summer signing Adam Barrett replaced Claude Davis at centre-half in midweek and could keep his place.

Winger Sean Scannell and defender Lee Hills remain on the sidelines with knee injuries.
