O'Dea: Set for debut

O'Dea could make his debut after joining on loan from Celtic while Tottenham winger Andros Townsend impressed on his bow last week and should keep his place.

Ipswich will also begin life without former captain Jon Walters, who was left out of the 1-1 draw with Burnley last weekend after his reaction to manager Roy Keane's decision to strip him of the armband and has subsequently joined Stoke.

Midfielder David Norris celebrated being named as new skipper by scoring his third goal in two games against the Clarets and he will continue to be partnered by teenager Luke Hyam. But Grant Leadbitter is a doubt after only lasting 45 minutes of that draw before coming off with an ankle injury.

Centre-half Gareth McAuley has recovered from a back injury but winger Carlos Edwards has a groin problem which will sideline him for several weeks. Mark Kennedy sustained a hamstring injury on his debut a fortnight ago and is not fit.
