McCarthy made 10 changes for the mid-week Carling Cup success over Southend at Molineux.

But he said: "All the players from the Southend game are in the squad but, if you are asking my line-up, they won't be starting. The team that beat Stoke and drew at Everton warrant starting - certainly most of them."

It means Michael Mancienne, signed for a third loan spell from Chelsea, is likely to be amongst the substitutes. Defender Ronald Zubar is pushing for a recall after recovering from injury.
