St Mirren striker Craig Dargo is a major doubt for Saturday's SPL trip to Kilmarnock after suffering a knee injury in training.

Michael Higdon (groin), David Barron (knee) and Paul McQuade (calf) remain on the sidelines but Steven Thomson is pushing for a return after taking part in two closed-door games following his injury.

Former Grimsby midfielder Nick Hegarty may also be involved after signing for Saints on transfer deadline day.
