Leicester manager Pablo Sousa could hand Japanese World Cup star Yuki Abe his debut against Cardiff after he finally received a work visa.

Goalkeeper Chris Weale has not recovered from a shoulder injury so Carl Ikeme will continue to deputise between the sticks on Tuesday at The Walkers Stadium.

Matty Fryatt is likely to keep his place up front for the Foxes despite reported interest from Derby for the striker, while Sousa will have to decide whether to recall Steve Howard to give his frontline more aerial threat.

Danny N'Guessan may be recalled at the expense of Lloyd Dyer as the Foxes look for their first win of the season.

Andy King scored at the weekend and will be at the heart of the midfield against a Cardiff side inspired by the arrival of Craig Bellamy.
