Faurlin: Missing for the leaders

Faurlin: Missing for the leaders

QPR will be without Alejandro Faurlin and Rob Hulse for the visit of Rovers.

Midfielder Faurlin will be out for at least another week with the groin problem he suffered at Ipswich and deadline-day signing Hulse is still not fit enough to make his debut after an Achilles problem.

Defender Bradley Orr is close to returning from a calf problem but Tottenham loanee Kyle Walker will probably continue at right-back while Clint Hill stays at left-back despite an ongoing ankle problem.

Fitz Hall (hamstring) and Lee Cook (knee) are still a couple of weeks away from returning and Peter Ramage has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

Club captain Martin Rowlands was on the bench at Leicester last weekend after 11 months out with cruciate damage.

Doncaster skipper Brian Stock is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.

Stock returned to the bench for last week's 0-0 draw with Leeds after resting his back but played the full 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek.

Rovers could also be boosted by the return of striker James Hayter, out for six weeks with a torn hamstring, and defender Byron Webster, who also has a successful run-out for the reserves following a foot injury.

But manager Sean O'Driscoll, who has no new injury or suspension worries, is unlikely to make too many changes to his side after describing their display against Leeds as their "most complete of the season".

Rovers are chasing their second league win of the campaign away from home and could climb to second if they become the first side this season to beat QPR.
