Striker Matty Fryatt will be missing when Leicester begin life without Paulo Sousa.

Sousa was sacked less than three months after taking over from Nigel Pearson following a disappointing start to the season.

The Foxes have won just one of their first nine games in the Championship and slipped to the bottom of the table after their midweek defeat at Norwich.

Current goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell and coach Chris Powell will take temporary charge of the first team against the Iron.

They must do so without Fryatt, who begins a three-match suspension following his dismissal against the Canaries.

He kicked out at defender Leon Barnett as he attempted to get the ball back having hauled Leicester back in the game at 4-3. Portuguese defender Miguel Vitor remains suspended.

Scunthorpe manager Ian Baraclough has no fresh injury concerns.

Midfielder Garry Thompson and on-loan defender Jim McNulty remain sidelined with groin and ankle injuries respectively but will be the only absentees.

The Iron travel to the Walkers Stadium searching for their third away win of the season, and Baraclough's first since he was named as permanent boss following two draws.

Baraclough told the club's official website: "It's a case of using the same squad we had last week.

"We're a settled squad at the moment and that's how we'll travel.

"It's good for a manager to have continuity, and to be able to choose from the same players."
