The Terriers had the better of the first half but were unable to find a way through, as Scunthorpe saw defender Rob Jones limp out through injury.

Garry Thompson opened the scoring in the 50th minute when Chris Dagnall broke clear and squared for his strike partner to tap in.

And Michael Raynes doubled the lead in the 61st minute with a close range finish from Josh Wright's corner.
