Heskey and fellow substitute Steve Sidwell both netted in the final 20 minutes too after Marc Albrighton's opener inside five minutes was cancelled out by Luc Castaignos.

Sidwell's strike was the pick of the evening's goals, the flame-faired midfielder firing a 25-yard rocket into the top corner.
