Adebola: Knee problem

Dele Adebola is Nottingham Forest's main concern ahead of the visit of East Midlands rivals Derby.

The big striker is still feeling the knee problem that forced him to miss the win over his former club Crystal Palace.

Captain Paul McKenna could come back into the side after missing four matches with a groin injury. The midfielder was on the bench against Palace and the postponement of the Boxing Day trip to Middlesbrough has given him time to make a full recovery.

Striker David McGoldrick is still nursing a knee injury and will remain on the sidelines.

If Forest avoid defeat they will have gone through the whole of 2010 without losing a league game at the City Ground.

Derby captain Robbie Savage will miss the clash through suspension.

The veteran midfielder should have served his one-match ban against Doncaster on Boxing Day but that game was postponed because of power failure at Pride Park. James Bailey could come back into the team in his absence.

It is hoped Dean Leacock will be fit after a groin injury forced him off at half-time against Reading. However, fellow defenders Russell Anderson (hamstring) and Gareth Roberts (calf) remain out.

Forward Steve Davies (knee) and centre-halves Miles Addison (foot) and Jake Buxton (groin) have resumed training following spells out injured. Davies and Addison could be on the bench.
