Oakley: Returns from injury

Leicester captain Matt Oakley should be added to the squad for the visit of Sheffield United.

The veteran midfielder is back in full training after missing Saturday's win at Barnsley with a knee problem.

Portuguese defender Miguel Vitor, a goalscorer at Oakwell, missed training on Monday with a bruised knee but is expected to be fit.

Former England striker Darius Vassell lasted just over an hour on his City debut at the weekend and should be involved again.

Defender Aleksandar Tunchev is still sidelined but hopes to return to full training at the end of November after a serious knee injury.

The Foxes are unbeaten in their last three home matches.

Sheffield United boss Gary Speed could have loan duo Andy Reid and Stephen Jordan available for the clash.

The duo have been struggling with hamstring problems, and although Speed will not rush them back, he remains hopeful they will be fit.

He said: "They are in contention but we will wait unto Wednesday before making a decision. With the nature of their injuries it is important that the players themselves feel right in themselves.

"There is no point in rushing them back and then losing them straight away, particularly as there are three games this week, so changes will be inevitable anyway."

Forward Jamie Ward is rated "touch and go" to make the game after sustaining an ankle knock against Ipswich on Saturday.
