Graham: Had a hand in both goals
New Hornets signing Rene Gilmartin prevented the Football League newcomers from taking a first-half lead with some fine saves before McGinn opened the scoring in the 57th minute following a great run from Danny Graham.
The Hornets doubled their advantage in the 73rd minute, Sordell firing home from close range from Graham's pass.
Gilmartin pulled off another superb save to deny substitute Stacey Long a consolation goal.
