Hendry Thomas and Maynor Figueroa will return for Wigan after missing Sunday's win at Wolves through suspension.

Roberto Martinez is set to freshen up his team despite that much-needed triumph but Emmerson Boyce (hamstring) and Franco Di Santo (ankle) are still not fit to return while James McCarthy and Victor Moses are long-term casualties.

Arsenal also look set to rotate their team for the game, with skipper Cesc Fabregas suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Chelsea.

Russian winger Andrey Arshavin was an unused substitute during the 3-1 win over the Blues but is likely to feature, while striker Marouane Chamakh and centre-back Sebastien Squillaci could also come back into the starting XI.

Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles), goalkeeper Manuel Almunia (ankle) and Kieran Gibbs (ankle) are out.
