McCann: On international duty with Northern Ireland

Bristol Rovers caretaker manager Stuart Campbell could have Byron Anthony available.

The 26-year-old defender has missed the last three games with an ankle problem but has returned to full training and could be included against Posh.

Midfielder Dominic Blizzard has returned from a short loan spell at Port Vale, which lasted just one game, but will not be available after sustaining an injury during the Valiants' 3-0 defeat at Accrington last week.

Campbell is unlikely to make many changes to his side following the vital 1-0 win against Notts County last weekend.

Goalkeeper Conrad Logan has extended his loan from Leicester until the end of the season and will continue in goal, meaning Mike Green will remain on the bench.

Striker Jo Kuffour is pushing for a starting berth following a 32-minute cameo against the Magpies.

Peterborough will be without captain Grant McCann.

The midfielder is away on international duty with Northern Ireland as he prepares for the European Championship qualifier in Serbia.

His absence is likely to mean a recall for James Wesolowski in the centre as Posh look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at MK Dons on Monday night.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington has had a hernia operation and will be sidelined for at least a month, while recent signing Paul Taylor will not feature as he is not match fit.

Striker Dave Hibbert is absent as he steps up his comeback from a dislocated knee suffered back in November.
