James Forrest (ankle) is definitely in contention while Scott Brown (foot), Beram Kayal (hernia) and Emilio Izaguirre (thigh) are also closing in on a return.

Shaun Maloney (ankle) and Glenn Loovens (knee) are out but Georgios Samaras (Achilles) and Gary Hooper (illness) should overcome concerns.

Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen has no fresh injury concerns.

Only long-term casualties James Dayton and goalkeeper Alan Combe remain on the sidelines for the Ayrshire outfit.

That means the Killie boss is likely to name an unchanged squad from the one who defeated Hibernian at the weekend.
