Goodwillie: Back after suspension

Goodwillie: Back after suspension

David Goodwillie is available again but Dundee United have concerns over Barry Douglas and Jon Daly.

Goodwillie was suspended for last Saturday's 0-0 Scottish Cup fourth round draw with Ross County as the holders glimpsed what life could be like without the sought-after Scotland international striker.

Douglas suffered a head knock against County and Daly a groin problem, while Craig Conway returns to the squad following a knee injury, but Danny Swanson (back), Scott Severin (foot), Mihael Kovacevic (knee) and Darren Dods (knee) remain out.

Motherwell have no fresh injury problems but Marc Fitzpatrick's future is uncertain as he mulls over an offer to extend his contract, which expired after the 4-0 win against Dundee on Sunday.

Steven Saunders remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Dundee United (from): Pernis, Dillon, Watson, Dixon, Douglas, S Robertson, D Robertson, Kenneth, Gomis, Buaben, Shala, Cadamarteri, Conway, Daly, Russell, Dow, Armstrong, Mentel, Banks.

Motherwell (from): Randolph, Reynolds, Craigan, Hammell, Fitzpatrick, Sutton, Humphrey, Lasley, Hateley, Jennings, Murphy, Forbes, McHugh, Casagolda, Hutchinson, Hollis, Page, Pollock.
