Kyle: Misses out against former club

Kilmarnock could lose Conor Sammon before the game as the Irish striker is in talks over a move to Scunthorpe.

Jamie Hamill remains on the sidelines as he serves the second match of a two-game ban.

Craig Bryson, James Dayton (both knee) and Alan Combe (groin) remain on the sidelines.

Kevin Kyle and Rudi Skacel are almost certain to miss out for Hearts, while strikers Stephen Elliott and Calum Elliot are doubtful.

Kyle is set to miss his return to Rugby Park due to a groin problem and Skacel has a calf tear, while Elliott has an Achilles problem and fellow striker Elliot has also picked up an injury.

Lee Wallace is available again after flu and Andrew Driver (thigh) and Suso Santana (knee) are nearing returns after long absences.
