Anichebe: Doubtful with groin strain

Everton forward Victor Anichebe is doubtful for the game with a groin strain.

Otherwise manager David Moyes has no fresh injury worries for the Goodison Park clash.

England defender Phil Jagielka, an unused substitute against West Ham last week after recovering from a groin strain, is in contention to return.

Midfielder Tim Cahill is the only major absentee due to his continued involvement with Australia in the Asian Cup.

Frank Lampard remains a slight doubt for Chelsea.

The England midfielder missed Monday night's 4-0 Premier League win at Bolton with a calf injury and manager Carlo Ancelotti is mulling over whether to risk him either as a starter or a substitute.

Gael Kakuta and Patrick van Aanholt both left Stamford Bridge on loan this week, while Alex (knee), Yury Zhirkov (calf) and Yossi Benayoun (Achilles) remain sidelined.

Everton: Howard, Neville, Distin, Heitinga, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Osman, Arteta, Saha, Beckford, Jagielka, Hibbert, Rodwell, Bilyaletdinov, Gueye, Anichebe, Baxter, Duffy, Mucha.

Chelsea (from): Cech, Ferreira, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Bruma, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Kalou, Essien, Lampard, Anelka, Sturridge, Drogba, Malouda, Turnbull, McEachran.
