Rangers boss Walter Smith has defensive worries ahead of the game.

Stopper Madjid Bougherra is suspended while right-back Steven Whittaker is a doubt with a badly bruised toe as is left-back Sasa Papac, who has has a groin complaint.

Andy Webster and Richard Foster are set to come in to a side which could again be missing midfielder Steven Naismith who is struggling with a hamstring problem.

Inverness have no fresh concerns ahead of the game.

David Proctor was an unused substitute in last Saturday's 0-0 draw at Motherwell following a knee injury.

Jonny Hayes has returned to light training, but Gavin Morrison, Kenny Gillet and Kevin McCann remain out.
