Doncaster will hand a late fitness test to goalkeeper Neil Sullivan.

Sullivan had been expected to return for Saturday's match with Portsmouth after a shin injury, but missed out again after suffering a recurrence and will be closely monitored.

Gary Woods will make his fourth appearance for Rovers if Sullivan fails to make it.

Midfielder Ryan Mason, however, is definitely out as he sustained a leg injury after stepping off the bench in the home defeat to Pompey.

Defender Joseph Mills is in contention for a place in the starting line-up, but midfielders Simon Gillett (knee) and Martin Woods (groin) are still several weeks away from a return.

Wayne Thomas (calf) is stepping up his rehabilitation, but fellow defenders Shelton Martis (ankle), Mustapha Dumbuya (knee) and striker James Hayter (calf) remain sidelined.

Ipswich captain David Norris looks set to miss out for Town.

The midfielder - who has scored nine times this season - came off just 15 minutes into the 1-1 draw at Barnsley on Saturday after sustaining ankle and knee damage in a tackle.

Norris has been sent for a scan to determine the severity of the injuries but he is unlikely to recover in time to make another trip to Yorkshire.

Colin Healy replaced Norris at Oakwell and could start in his place if required.

Striker Jason Scotland could also come into the starting XI. Scotland has been talking up a move back to former club Swansea but came off the bench to score at Oakwell.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy has stepped up his comeback from a broken ankle after coming out of plaster and will be back in around six weeks, meaning Marton Fulop will continue in goal.
