Noone: Set to face his former club

Craig Noone returns to the Brighton squad for the visit of his former club Plymouth.

The winger was cup-tied for Saturday's 3-0 FA Cup defeat at Stoke, but will be back to face the side he left in January.

Midfielder Matt Sparrow (knee) and striker Chris Wood (foot), who missed out at the Britannia Stadium, are expected to train ahead of the match and should be fit.

Casper Ankergren returns in goal and Adam El-Abd should reclaim his place in defence, while 16-year-old midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey could be among the substitutes again.

Alan Navarro (cruciate) is back in training but not ready for first-team action yet, Jamie Smith (foot) and Jim McNulty (ankle) are still out and Radostin Kishishev remains unavailable for personal reasons.

Plymouth boss Peter Reid will have Jim Paterson available.

The 31-year-old has missed the last three games, all defeats, while on compassionate leave in Scotland but returned to training this week and will be in the squad.

Paterson could even go straight back into the starting line-up after his replacement, Karl Duguid, limped out of the 3-1 defeat against Tranmere before half-time on February 12.

Defender Onismor Bhasera is making good progress in his rehabilitation from a knee problem but the game is likely to come too soon for him.

Winger Yala Bolasie will complete a three-match ban following his sending-off against Yeovil on February 1 for an off-the-ball incident.

The Pilgrims will be hoping to end a run of five consecutive league defeats.
