Leicester's player of the year Richie Wellens could be fit for the final game of the season at home to Ipswich.

The midfielder was unable to collect his accolade at the club's awards ceremony on Tuesday night because of tonsilitis.

He should be included in the squad if he trains during the latter part of the week.

Sven-Goran Eriksson could make changes, and the City boss has plenty of options at his disposal.

Defenders Patrick van Aanholt, Bruno Berner and Julio Moreno, midfielder Lloyd Dyer and forwards Steve Howard and Diomansy Kamara are available for recalls.

Matt Oakley could also be an option if the midfielder recovers from a groin problem, while Bulgarian defender Aleksandar Tunchev will continue his steady comeback from a serious knee injury.

Connor Wickham could return as Ipswich end a disappointing season at Leicester.

The 18-year-old - who was named in the provisional 40-man England squad for this summer's 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Denmark this week - has missed the last two games with a rib injury but is back in training.

Defender Gareth McAuley is also back in contention after a groin strain and he could make his final appearance for the club.

McAuley and midfielder David Norris are out of contract next month and look likely to move on.

On-loan defender Darren O'Dea has returned to Celtic after he picked up an ankle injury but Jimmy Bullard is available after he shook off a knee problem to play against Preston last weekend.
