St Johnstone hope to have defender Steven Anderson back in their squad.

The defender missed Saturday's draw with Kilmarnock with a minor knee injury but is hopeful of recovering.

Collin Samuel hopes to brush off a hip knock but Jamie Adams (hamstring), Graham Gartland (groin), Jody Morris (back) and Sam Parkin (knee) remain out.

Rangers are boosted by the return of Kyle Lafferty and Darren Cole.

Lafferty missed Saturday's defeat to Dundee United with a knee injury, while Cole was out with a minor knock picked up in an under-19s game.

Madjid Bougherra (hamstring) and Vladimir Weiss (foot) are still sidelined, while the trip to Perth would appear to come too soon for Kirk Broadfoot as he recovers from a foot problem.

St Johnstone (from): Enckelman, Maybury, Grainger, Duberry, Mackay, Anderson, Craig, Invincibile, Davidson, Millar, MacDonald, Novikovas, Moon, Samuel, Robertson, Caddis, Taylor, May, Smith.

Gers (from): McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Foster, Weir, Wylde, Davis, Edu, Naismith, Jelavic, Diouf, Ness, Hutton, Alexander, Kerkar, Fleck, Lafferty, Cole.
