Aberdeen are likely to be without seven players for the game.

Rory McArdle (shoulder) is definitely out, while Zander Diamond (stomach), David McNamee (hamstring) and Paul Hartley (knee) are major doubts.

Long-term injury victims Yoann Folly, Darren Mackie and Fraser Fyvie are also out but Scott Vernon could play through a hernia problem.

Rangers will be without Richard Foster, who is ineligible under the terms of his loan agreement.

Lee McCulloch (knee) and Kirk Broadfoot (foot) remain on the sidelines, while Vladimir Weiss is awaiting the results of a scan on his foot and is expected to be out of action for another couple of weeks.
