Dixon: Suspended

Paul Dixon is suspended for Dundee United.

Dixon will serve the first of a two-match ban and his fellow defender Keith Watson (calf) remains out.

Darren Dods (knee) is also sidelined.

Rangers are boosted by the return of Madjid Bougherra.

The defender was an unused substitute against St Mirren at the weekend and is now in contention for a starting role at Tannadice.

Steven Naismith is also available for Tuesday's game against United after serving his suspension.

But the match comes just too soon for Lee McCulloch as he bids to make his comeback following knee surgery.
