Lawrence: Calf injury

Portsmouth are set to be without Liam Lawrence and Dave Kitson.

Winger Lawrence missed both matches over Easter with the torn calf muscle he sustained at Cardiff a week earlier, and striker Kitson sat out Monday's 1-1 draw at Burnley after injuring his ribs against Swansea on Saturday.

The duo are not expected to be fit to face the Canaries but they could return at Scunthorpe on the final day of the season.

On-loan Manchester United full-back Ritchie de Laet limped off at Turf Moor with a calf injury and needs a fitness test along with midfielder Joel Ward, who also has calf trouble.

Defender Ricardo Rocha is suspended for the remainder of the season.

Norwich manager Paul Lambert will wait to analyse the fitness of defender Zak Whitbread before naming his squad.

Whitbread picked up a hip injury during the 3-2 defeat of Derby on Easter Monday so on-loan Blackpool man Rob Edwards could make a start.

Striker Chris Martin will again be on the bench after recovering from a hamstring injury as Simeon Jackson partners captain Grant Holt in attack.

Jackson scored his second hat-trick in the space of six games to beat the Rams and has come into form at the perfect time.

Fellow striker Sam Vokes has been recalled by parent club Wolves but Oli Johnson and Owain Tudur Jones are back at Carrow Road after loan spells with Yeovil and Brentford respectively. Striker Aaron Wilbraham will miss the run-in with a back injury and is joined on the casualty list by defender Leon Barnett (hamstring).

The Canaries will return to the Premier League with a victory if Cardiff lose to Middlesbrough earlier in the day.
