Lee McCulloch is unlikely to have any part to play for Rangers in Sunday's Old Firm derby.
The midfielder had hoped to make his comeback this weekend following knee surgery but the clash at Ibrox looks set to come too soon.
Jamie Ness is also rated doubtful, after being forced out of last week's win over St Mirren late on with cramp, but has been given more of a chance of facing Celtic than McCulloch.
Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley will miss the game with a hamstring injury.
Defender Glenn Loovens is in contention, however, after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Midfielder Shaun Maloney (thigh) is a doubt while defender Cha Du-ri is still sidelined with an ankle injury.
