Celtic midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is out of the clash due to a calf strain.

Midfielder Joe Ledley will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury aggravated against Rangers at Ibrox last week while defender Cha Du-ri remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

United have four players back from suspension for the trip.

Morgaro Gomis, Sean Dillon, Mihael Kovacevic and Paul Dixon are available again after missing the 4-2 win over Kilmarnock.

Only Darren Dods (knee) is out.
