Kris Commons is suspended for Celtic having been sent off for receiving two yellow cards in the 3-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle on Wednesday.

Shaun Maloney could come in to contention as a replacement.

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall will take no risks with players who have niggling injuries.

McCall reported minor problems with Darren Randolph (thigh), Stevie Hammell and Keith Lasley (both hamstring) after the midweek draw against Kilmarnock.

Jamie Murphy could return after being rested for the Kilmarnock game.
