Motherwell are without Ross Forbes for their SPL opener against Inverness.

The midfielder is serving a one-match suspension carried over from last season.

Michael Higdon and Nicky Law are expected to make their competitive debuts for Stuart McCall's team.

Inverness manager Terry Butcher has a few injury concerns ahead of their SPL game against Motherwell.

Josh Meekings (ankle) and Lee Cox (pelvis) are both ruled out of the visit to Fir Park.

Forwards Gregory Tade (Achilles) and Billy McKay (ankle) are both injury doubts.
