Proctor: Hamstring trouble

Kenny Gillet and David Proctor have been ruled out for Caley.

The duo picked up hamstring injuries in the 3-3 draw at Dunfermline last weekend, with manager Terry Butcher expecting Proctor to be out for months, rather than weeks.

Billy McKay and Josh Meekings (both ankle) are out and must wait for their debuts, while midfielder Lee Cox (pelvis) remains absent.

Rangers are boosted by the return of Dorin Goian for the game.

The defender has recovered from a hamstring problem, but skipper David Weir is likely to remain on the sidelines with a similar injury.

Sasa Papac has also been ruled out of the trip to the Highlands through illness, while a question mark remains over the availability of Steven Whittaker, who has a broken toe. Kyle Bartley is set to be added to the squad after joining on loan for a second time from Arsenal.

Inverness (from): Esson, Tokely, Hogg, Aldred, Ross, Jones, Sutherland, Hayes, Tansey, Doran, Foran, Tade, Piermayr, Graeme Shinnie, Andrew Shinnie, Tuffey, Laing, Morrison, Polworth, Smith.

Rangers (from): McGregor, Whittaker, Wallace, Goian, Davis, McCulloch, Ortiz, Edu, Wylde, Naismith, Jelavic, Hemmings, Broadfoot, Alexander, Fleck, Healy, Hutton, Bartley.
