St Mirren have lost Nigel Hasselbaink and Darren McGregor.

Hasselbaink is suspended for two games after a failed appeal against his red card at Tannadice while McGregor faces six to nine months out after damaging a cruciate ligament.

Paul McQuade returns from a hamstring strain but Hugh Murray, Aaron Mooy, Graeme Smith and David Barron are still missing.

Motherwell are without Steven Saunders and Keith Lasley.

Saunders is out for up to nine months after rupturing his Achilles on Scotland Under-21 duty while Lasley is suspended following his dismissal against Hearts.

But Shaun Hutchinson returns to replace Saunders in central defence after overcoming a head knock.

Does David De Gea Need Competition?

It would certainly be a good idea to give Victor Valdes a contract, while we have more mails on Brendan Rodgers, Arsene Wenger, the rabona and mailbox gripes...

We have lots more mails about Liverpool (is Brendan the naked emperor?) and Arsenal. One reader feels sorry for Alexis Sanchez while one wants Wilshere dropped...
