Danny Swanson and Gavin Gunning are pushing for more involvement in the United side against Dunfermline.

The pair played 90 minutes in a closed-door game against Hibernian in midweek as Swanson looks to overcome a virus and Gunning aims to add to his debut off the bench at Celtic Park.

Scott Severin is United's only casualty following his triple leg break.

Kevin Rutkiewicz returns from a thigh injury for the Pars.

Andy Barrowman is back in the squad after recovering from a calf injury.

Steven Bell (Achilles) and Nicky Phinn (hamstring) remain absent.
