Gohouri: Missing for Wigan

Wigan will be without defensive duo Steve Gohouri and Antolin Alcaraz against the newly-promoted R's.

Gohouri is still missing with a calf problem and will not be back for at least two weeks while Alcaraz, who was replaced during the goalless draw at Swansea, suffered a muscle tear in his leg and could be absent for around two months.

Hugo Rodallega has yet to start a Premier League game after featuring for Colombia in the Copa America but he has appeared from the bench in the previous two matches and is in contention to start this weekend. Victor Moses is rated at 50/50 after also suffering a knock at Swansea and although his injury is not as bad as first feared he has not trained with the first team for the majority of the week.

QPR duo Jay Bothroyd and DJ Campbell are set to return at Wigan.

The strikers missed out on a starting spot in last weekend's 1-0 victory at Everton with a virus, which manager Neil Warnock admits is now affecting some of his other players.

Warnock will be without Clint Hill (suspension), Kieron Dyer (foot), Jamie Mackie (leg) and Rob Hulse (knee) on Saturday, while Bradley Orr will be handed a late fitness test after limping out of the midweek Carling Cup defeat to Rochdale.

Joey Barton is available after completing his move from Newcastle on Friday, but reports suggest he is unlikely to play.
