Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson faces a selection dilemma ahead of the visit of Hull.

Several players played their way into Ferguson's thoughts with their performances during a friendly run-out at St Albans on Monday night.

Recent signings Emile Sinclair, Daniel Kearns, Ben Gordon and Josh Thompson lined up for a strong Posh side while goalkeeper Joe Lewis came through his first match since May unscathed after recovering from a knee injury.

However, Ferguson has said that Paul Jones will keep his place in goal despite the return of Lewis.

Nicky Ajose has played just 22 minutes of first-team football since his summer arrival from Manchester United due to a hamstring injury, but the striker came through the entire 90 minutes against St Albans and could be included in the squad.

Defender Gabby Zakuani is also fit again after being sidelined by a toe problem.

Hull's latest loan signing Martyn Waghorn is hoping to make his full debut at London Road.

The 21-year-old Leicester striker, who arrived at the KC Stadium last week, scored his second goal in as many games for England Under-21s as they beat Israel 4-1 in Monday night's friendly at Oakwell.

Aaron Mclean partnered Matty Fryatt in attack as the Tigers clinched their first home win of the season against Reading in their last match, so Nigel Pearson must decide whether to make changes to accommodate Waghorn.

Pearson is still without defender Paul McShane (calf) and winger Cameron Stewart (knee ligaments).

The Tigers boss is not expected to make too many changes after his side clinched only their second league win of the season against Reading.

The Problem With FA Cup Shocks...

...is that the draw for the next round is pretty shocking. Blackburn v Stoke, anybody? We also have mails on LVG and ManUnited, who drew plenty under Fergie...

You're Man Utd, For Crying Out Loud!

Defending a 0-0 draw with Cambridge on the grounds that other teams lost to lower-league opposition is not befitting of Man United. We're inclined to agree with Mailboxers...
