Barron: Pushing for return

Barron: Pushing for return

David Barron is pushing for a place in the St Mirren team after returning to full fitness and playing 90 minutes in a reserve game against Motherwell.

Aaron Mooy has begun running after a back injury but is not yet being considered for SPL duty.

Hugh Murray is due to return to training on Monday after a knee injury while Darren McGregor has undergone successful surgery on a damaged cruciate ligament.

St Johnstone boss Derek McInnes welcomes back two key players.

Chris Millar and Kevin Moon have recovered from their respective hip and hand injuries and will be back in the squad for the trip to Paisley.

Callum Davidson (calf), Murray Davidson (knee) and Sam Parkin (ankle) are out.
