Wilfried Zaha and Jonathan Williams could return to the Crystal Palace starting line-up.

The young duo were the stars of Palace's second-round win over Wigan last Tuesday but were back on the bench for Saturday's Championship defeat by Boro.

Striker Glenn Murray could also start after his substitute appearance at the weekend.

Midfielder Alex Marrow (ankle) and forward Steffen Iversen (hamstring) played for the reserves last week to build up their fitness and should be added to the bench while defender Anthony Gardner could figure for the first time since rejoining the Eagles from Hull.

Full-back Nathaniel Clyne (foot) and midfielders Kagisho Dikgacoi (hamstring) and Owen Garvan (hip) are still out.

Tony Mowbray will make changes as he looks for a repeat of the victory which briefly took Middlesbrough to the top of the Championship table.

Keeper Carl Ikeme is ineligible under the terms of his loan deal, while full-back Joe Bennett is suspended after being sent-off for two bookable offences in the 1-0 league win at Palace on Saturday.

Midfielder Malaury Martin did not train on Sunday because of illness and remains a doubt, while Seb Hines is out with a knee problem.

However, Julio Arca, who missed out at Selhurst Park with a foot injury, is fit while Connor Ripley and 20-year-old striker Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely, a loan signing from Manchester City, have been added to the squad.
